The Lisa Ross Parker Foundation announces the winners of the 2018 Lisa Ross Parker Memorial Scholarship

BRENTWOOD, TN – May 10, 2018 – The Lisa Ross Parker Foundation is pleased to announce the winner(s) of the 2018 Lisa Ross Parker Memorial Scholarship. The annual scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior from Adamsville High School (TN). The $2,000 scholarship goes to a student that has been touched by cancer within their immediate family (parents, siblings, grandparents or legal guardian) and is given out each May since 2007.

The 2018 winners are Laura Dee Pettit and Rachel Stanfill. They will each receive $1,000 towards their college education. Laura Dee plans to attend Jackson State Community College and major in Applied Science. Rachel plans to attend Middle Tennessee State University and major in psychology.

Lisa was a 1986 graduate of Adamsville High School, which is located in West Tennessee (McNairy County).  She was a cheerleader at Adamsville High School, played basketball and also ran track. She was very involved with extracurricular activities in both high school and college.
